HOT BATH, THE. English, Country Dance Tune or Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody and country dance directions also appear in Thomas Skillern's Skillern's Compleat Collection of Two Hundred & Four Reels...Country Dances (1780).

Bathing in the hot springs at Bath. Men and women bathed fully clothed in special costumes
