HANDLE'S MINUET. AKA - "Handel's Minuet." English, Minuet (3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. The title indicates origins with the composer Georg Friedrich Handel, who composed several minuet movements as parts of larger works. The tune was entered into the large 1840 music manuscript collection of multi-instrumentalist John Rook, of Waverton, near Wigton, Cumbria, who may have had access to O'Farrell's collection, for it is note-for-note the same.
