QUADRILLE BOUCHARD (troisième partie). French-Canadian, Reel. D Major ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Fiddler Joseph Bouchard (1905-1979) was the first to record this tune, on 78 RPM in 1938. He was a member of the group Les Montagnards laurentins (The Laurentian Mountaineers – the Laurentians are a range of mountains in the Province of Québec), who had a long-running radio broadcast in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
