MILLPOND, THE. AKA and see "Lough Gill Jig (The)." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The Lough Gill Quartet, made of John Cawley (flute), Sarah Hobbs (fiddle), Sonny Brogan (accordion), and Bill Harte (accordion), recorded the tune in 1941.
