The Dublin-based Lough Gill Quartet, made of John Cawley (flute), Sarah Hobbs (fiddle), Sonny Brogan (accordion), and Bill Harte (accordion), recorded the tune in 1941. The quartet was named after the famous lake in County Sligo and as a tribute to Sligo-born New York fiddler Michael Coleman.
