ZIG-ZAG HORNPIPE/CLOG. Irish, Scottish, Old Time; Hornpipe.USA; Arkansas, Missouri. G Major (Kerr): D Major (Sweet): F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune shares the signal melodic theme of the opening measure of the second strain with numerous other melodies such as "Fred Wilson's Clog," "Cincinatti Hornpipe (1)," "Harvest Home (1)," "Dundee Hornpipe," "Standard Hornpipe," "Cork Hornpipe," "Kildare Fancy," "Cliff Hornpipe," "Ruby Lip," "Higgins' Hornpipe," "Kephart's Clog" (Pa.), "Snyder's Jig" (Pa.).
