P.J. CONWAY’S SLIDE. Irish, Slide (12/8 time). Composed by Bronx, New York, button accordion player Terence 'Terry' Winch, a founding member of the Washington, D.C.-based band Celtic Thunder. Terry’s father was a banjo player who played with famed accordion player Patrick "P.J." Conway in New York. Conway recorded numerous sides in the 78 RPM era, and Terry is the present owner of his instrument.
