PARKS OF KILBURN(IE), THE. AKA and see "Parks of Fochabers (The)." English, Scottish; Reel. England, Northumberland. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of this tune in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection, however, it appears earlier in London publisher John Walsh's 'Country Dances Selected, Part 1 (1748), printed with country dance directions. The Gows later re-titled the reel as "Parks of Fochabers" in Complete Repository Part 3 (1806).
