G Major ('A' part) & E Minor ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Flaherty): AA'BB' (Roche). Fiddler Paddy Killoran recorded the tune in the 78 RPM era under the titles “MacPaddin's Favorite” and “Jerry Donovan's Favorite.” John Gerrity called it the “The Night Cap” and Paddy Cronin and Joe Burke had it as “Humors of Quarry Cross (The).”
