I have been teaching piano and violin in Scotland for over ten years and am currently a postgraduate music student. My research interests include music and migration and how folk tunes come to exist at opposite corners of the world via the people that transported them. I’m particularly interested in Shetland fiddle tunes through my own family heritage.
