Related to “Dowd's Favorite”/“O'Dowd's Favourite” and “Tee Ree Reel (The).” Breathnach (1996) also finds it related to O’Neill’s “Murtough Molloy” (DMI, No. 741), “Flowers in May (The),” “Ladies' Pantaloons,” and “Scotch Hunt (The).” Sliabh Luachra fiddler Denis Murphy played a variant he called “Dublin Lasses (2),” although it bears no relation to the “Dublin Lasses” as printed by O’Neill.
