A.A. Deschênes
A traditional tune in the repertoire of Idilon Mimeault, father of fiddler Yvon Mimeault (b. 1928, Mont-Louis, Gaspé). It bears the name of André Albert Deschênes, a violin-maker originally from Les Hauteurs (near Rimouski), who assisted a grateful Yvon in recalling it to memory.
