CONGRESS PARK. American, Reel. G Major ('A' part) & E Minor ('B' part). Standard tuning. AB. The title probably refers to Congress Park in Saratoga Springs, New York. It was the location of the Canfield Casino, a gambling establishment built in the 1870's, and Congress Hall, a luxury resort hotel. Together they earned Saratoga Springs a premier reputation as a spa and resort for wealthy society and rich gamblers throughout the 2nd half of the 19th century and into the early 20th century.
