ACROSS THE FENCE. AKA - "Brendan McGlinchey's Hornpipe," “Cross the Fence,” "McGlinchey's Hornpipe," “Reilly’s (Hornpipe).” Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC (Mulvihill): AABBCC’ (Cranitch). Composed by Brendan McGlinchy. The tune is in Bulmer & Sharpley as “Reilly’s Hornpipe.” It appears in Martin Mulvihill's 1st Collection (1986, No. 45, p. 102, learned from Baltimore fiddler Brendan Mulvihill) and in Matt Cranitch's Irish Fiddle Book (1996), No. 91, p. 162.
