BOSTON BOY. AKA and see "Take Me Back to Georgia," "Ladies in the Ballroom (2)," "Rattlesnake Bit the Baby." Old-Time, Bluegrass; Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune was a favorite of "Uncle Pen" Vanderver, a fiddler made famous by Bill Monroe's famous song (and Monroe's uncle). The 'A' part of "Boston Boy" is similar the 'C' part of "Texas Gales/Gals."
