DRUMMUIR CASTLE. Scottish, Pipe Quickstep (4/4 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927). Drummuir Castle is a Gothic-style manor located on an estate in Moray (between Newmill and Dufftown). It was built for Admiral Duff in 1848, and was the home of the Duff family who held the estate since 1621.
