DUKE OF RICHMOND'S REEL [1], THE. Scottish, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by biography:William Marshall (1748-1833). In Marshall's lifetime the Dukes of Richmond were Charles Lennox [1] (1735-1806), 3rd Duke of Richmond, his newphew Charles Lennox [2] (1764-1819), 4th Duke of Richmond, 4th Duke of Lennox, 4th Duke of Aubigny, KG, PC (9 December 1764 – 28 August 1819) and Charles Gordon-Lennox [3] (1791-1860), 5th Duke of Richmond.
