DUNCAN MACQUARRIE STRATHSPEY, A. AKA and see "Miss Margaret Gillis." Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune was composed by Cape Breton fiddler Gordon F. MacQuarrie as "Miss Margaret Gillis," and published in his 1940 collection.
