ELFIN POLKA. AKA - "Star Polka Quadrille Figure 6." American, Polka (2/4 time). D Major (A-D parts) & G Major (E part). Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCDE. Elias Howe used the tune for the sixth figure of his "Star Polka Quadrille." There were a few mid-19th century pieces called "Elfin Polka."
