GABRIELLE'S. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One of the more popular compositions of Judique, Cape Breton, fiddler John Morris Rankin (1960-2000), named after a next-door neighbor Gabrielle MacLellan, who was at the time a young fiddler. She has since become a respected player in demand for dances and tutorials.
