GREEN ROOM, THE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. As was common with loose copyright protections, John Walsh's tunes from his c. 1737 volume were reprinted in Davis's 1748 collection, and again in John Johnson's Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 5 (London, 1750).
