HOLBURN MARCH. AKA - "Holborn March." English, Country Dance Tune or March (cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Wright): AABC (Barnes). English, Country Dance Tune (4/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. The tune was published by London publisher John Johnson in (Daniel) Wright's Compleat Collection of Celebrated Country Dances (1740, p. 31). It appears to be unique to that collection and was not reprinted in other period volumes.
