HOPPITY HOPPITY. AKA and see "New Drops of Brandy." Irish, Slip Jig (9/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A member of the large and varied "Cummilum" tune family. Hardebeck's "Hoppity Hoppity" is a nearly exact copy of Northumbrian piper John Peacock's "New Drops of Brandy," published c. 1805.
