HORACE HANESWORTH. American, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Massachusetts musician Larry Unger, who told Susan Songer (The Portland Collection) that his inspiration for the title was Alfred Hitchcock's classic film The 39 Steps, which features a character with a similar name.
