JACK SHEPPARD'S HORNPIPE. English, Hornpipe (whole time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The hornpipe is attributed to "W.J." in Alexander's Fifty New Scotch & Irish Reels & Hornpipes (London, c. 1825), the initials, perhaps of the "eminent professor" who is credited on the cover as editor of the volume.
