JIM ANDERSON'S DELIGHT. Scottish, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by the late Shetland composer, pianist and piano-accordion player Ronnie Cooper [1] (1934-1982), of Lerwick, a self-taught musician. The person named in the title was a bartender who worked in the Queens Hotel, Lerwick, who always responded "delighted" when asked 'how he was'. His nickname soon became "Jimmy Delighted".
