Composed by Norman MacDonald in honor of double gold medalist (the Argyllshire Gathering {1959} and Northern Meeting {1963}) piper Kenneth 'Kenny' MacDonald (1938-2010), a founder member of the Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band started in 1968.
