KIND AND EASY. English, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The melody and dance instructions ("Longways for as many as will") first appear in John Young's Second Volume of the Dancing Master, third edition [1] (p. 311), published in London in 1718. Young was heir to the Playford publishing concerns.
