KING'S HEAD [2], THE. AKA - "King's Head Hornpipe." English, Triple Hornpipe (3/2 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. The melody was first printed by John Young in his Third Volume of the Dancing Master, 2nd Edition (London, 1726, p. 4), as "King's Head Hornpipe".
