LADY BIRR. AKA and see "Jim Moore's Fancy," "Flowers of Michigan," "Morning Cheer." Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Lady Birr" is a the title the group Fisher Street (named for a road in Dublin) recorded, with a later version under that title by Lunasa. The alternate titles "Jim Moore's Fancy," "Flowers of Michigan" and "Morning Cheer" are from Francis O'Neill's publications. The melody is related to the "Down the Broom" family of tunes.
