LADY CHARLOTTE CAMPBELL'S STRATHSPEY [1]. Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Surenne): AAB (Balmoral, Glen, Gow, Hunter): AABB' (Athole, Kerr). One of the 197 compositions claimed by biography:Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831), and one that "shows Nathaniel at his best" (Emmerson, 1971).
