LADY GLENORCHY. Scottish, Canadian; Pipe Reel. Canada, Cape Breton. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. This 19th century 'double-tonic' reel is attributed to Perthshire fiddler-composer biography:Duncan McKercher (1796-1873), "The Dunkeld Paganini". A Scottish country dance from the island of Barra went by this title about 1910; elsewhere the same dance was known as "Round About Hullachan" and "Reel of Tulloch in a Circle" (Flett & Flett, 1964).
