LAMENT FOR PROPHET. Shetland, Air (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "A slow air composed in 1981 for the late Prophet Smith of Bressay" (Anderson). Anderson [1] noted that Smith could be an Alamootie, the Shetland term for the Stormy Petrel, "when defending his beloved Shetland."
