LASSES' FASHION, THE. AKA and see "Boil the Breakfast Early," "Haud Awa' Frae Me Donald." Scottish, Reel. F Sharp Minor ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Athole): AABB' (Kerr). The melody appears under a Scots Gaelic title in Capt Simon Fraser of Knockie's 1816 collection. See also the Irish variant "Boil the Breakfast Early."
