LITTLE BETTY. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Composed October 15th, 1953, by Cape Breton fiddler and composer Dan R. MacDonald (1911-1976) and dedicated to Betty Lou MacMaster of Judique, Cape Breton. MacMaster is the wife of Kinnon Beaton and is a well-known Cape Breton piano player (aunt of Natalie MacMaster).
