LOUIS WALTZ. AKA - "Louie," "Louie's Waltz," "Louis' Waltz." AKA and see "Canadian Waltz," "Dermot Grogan’s Favorite," "Valse du Beau Canton," "Village Waltz." Canadian, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part (Martin & Hughes): AB (Bain): AA'B (Johnson). The tune was composed by Métis fiddler Andy DeJarlis [1] (1914-1975, Woodridge, Manitoba) under the title "Valse du Beau Canton" (Beautiful Village Waltz).
