LOW BACKED CAR [1], THE. AKA and see "Jolly Ploughman (The)." Irish, Air and Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Very similar to the duple-time English tune "Nutting Girl (The)" or "Hunting We Will Go (A)" (not Wm. Chappell's tune by that latter title). The title is sometimes confused with the unrelated "Irish Jaunting Car (The)."
