MARCH OF THE WORKERS (Life in the City). Scottish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by Billy (William) Jackson as part of his piece "Wellpark Suite," commissioned by Tennent's in honor of the centenary of their Wellpark brewery in Glasgow. A recording of the work was released in 1985 featuring members of Ossian (of which Jackson had been a member) and The Easy Club.
