MARGARET LAVIN (Mairgread Ni Labain). AKA and see "Bonny Portmore," "Peggy Levin," "Peggin a Levin." Irish, Air (3/4 time). G Major (D Mixolydian?): C Dorian (Clinton). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. A variant of the melody was printed in Darley & McCall's Feis Ceóil Collection (1914) under the title "Peggy Levin" (No. 53), a title that echoes flute player John Clinton's "Peggin a Levin".
