MARY MAVOURNEEN (Mary My Darling). AKA - "Fair Young Girl (The)," "Cailín Bán (An)," "Mháire 'gus a Mhúirnín (A),." Irish, Air. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The music to the song was composed by Irish operatic singer and composer William Micheal Balfe (1808-1870), to a lyric by A. Greville, c. 1862.
