MEMORIES OF ARCHIE NEIL. Canadian, Strathspey. Canada, Cape Breton. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by the late Inverness, Cape Breton, fiddler and composer Jerry Holland (1955-2009). The title honors fiddler Archie Neil Chisholm (1908-1997), a founding member of the Cape Breton Fiddler's Association. He was an emcee at the Broad Cove Concert in the summer for forty years, and was regarded with much affection in Cape Breton. See also Brenda Stubbert's march "Archie Neil Chisholm."
