Composed by fiddler Brenda Stubbert (b. 1959, Point Aconi, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia). Donald Angus Beaton (d. 1982) was an influential fiddler from Mabou, Inverness County, Cape Breton, who performed with Stubbert at many venues while alive (Cranford).
