MISS GAMBLE'S FROLICK. English, Jig. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody can be found in The General Magazine of Arts and Science (1755, p. 202, the same volume also issued in 1759 as Miscellaneous Correspondence, Volume 1) by Benjamin Martin [1] [Library of Congress, AP3.M67, Rare Book Room]. Printed on the same page is the anti-semiticly-titled "Anti-Jew Minuet (The)", composed "by a Brother."
