MISS WHARTON DUFF'S JIG. Scottish, Jig. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833), presumably for one of the daughters of Richard Wharton-Duff and his first cousin and wife, Lady Anne Duff, second daughter of Alexander, third Earl of Fife. Their daughters were Sophia Henrietta, Anne Jane and Jemima.
