MOUNT PLEASANT QUICKSTEP. American, March (either 4/4 or 6/8 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard evidently found the manuscript version of the tune to be garbled in notation, and made two attempts at reconstructing it; one in duple- and one in triple- time.

Source for notated version: Mount Pleasant Tablatures (fife MS.) [Bayard].

Printed sources: Bayard (Dance to the Fiddle), 1981; No. 48, p. 36.
