MR. ALEXANDER MUNRO. Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Aberdeenshire fiddlre-composer biography:Alexander Walker (b. 1819) in honor of Alexander Munro of Braemar. According to the Edinburgh Gazette of Sept. 30, 1898, Munro's estates were to be sequestered in a judgement against him. Apparently he had run into financial distress later in life.
