MRS. CAMPBELL OF SHINNESS. AKA - "Miss Campbell of Sheeness," "Miss Campbell of Sheerness." Scottish, Pipe Jig. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was composed by Roderick Campbell [1] (1873-1937). Shinness is near Lairg in Sutherland, in the north of Scotland. The tune is sometimes mistakenly called "Miss Campbell of Sheerness," a miss-hearing of the original title.
