MRS. KEEL. AKA - "Madam Keil." Irish, Planxty (3/4 time). D Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by blind Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738). Carolan researcher Donal O'Sullivan could not identify the subject of the composition.

Source for notated version: the manuscripts of Irish collector Edward Bunting [O'Sullivan]. Bunting noted the tune from the playing of harper Denis Hempson.

Printed sources: Complete Collection of Carolan's Irish Tunes, 1984; No. 69, p. 61. O'Sullivan (Carolan: The Life, Times and Music of an Irish Harper), 1958; No. 69, p. 139.
