MRS. MACDOUWAL/MACDOUALL/MACDOWAL GRANT. AKA and see "Miss Hunter of Burnside." Scottish, Slow Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The tune was published under the above title by Nathaniel Gow who gave himself composer credits in the Gow’s Third Collection (3rd ed.), although it appeared at around the same time under the title "Miss Hunter of Burnside" in a collection by Dundee publisher Charles Duff. The tune has been recorded several times by Cape Breton fiddlers.
