Ireland, Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border. D Major. Standard tuning. AA'B. The tune begins on an E Minor chord. Moylan's source, Johnny O'Leary, explained that Nelly Mahony was a sister of Mick Mahony, and was the "first one ever to bring it (i.e. the tune) around to us."
